Michael Lohan is still alive and kicking ... and, sorry, but he plans on sticking around for a while.
Michael -- who was hospitalized over the weekend for chest pains -- was at the Suffolk County District Court yesterday for his ongoing battle with his ex girlfriend Erin Muller, where he said he's "felt better."
We've also learned Michael was told by his doctor that he needs a heart catheterization, and that Michael is now taking medication to thin his blood and nitroglycerin to make sure his heart doesn't act up.

Michael Lohan is out of a Massachusetts hospital after a medical scare last night -- but he's not out of the woods yet.
Lohan experienced chest pains and was rushed to the hospital as he was preparing for a celebrity boxing match. He was examined by docs there, but didn't stay the night.
His girlfriend, Kate Major, tells TMZ Lohan wants to be checked out by doctors in New York. He is scheduled to see a cardiologist this week.
Major says Lohan has been very conscious of his health lately -- watching what he eats and exercising -- but he's had heart attacks before.
Lohan had to be replaced in his celebrity boxing bout last night against Todd Poulton -- we don't know who he is either.

Michael Lohan is trying to enlist the help of famed lawyer Robert Shapiro in Lindsay Lohan's DUI probation case ... this after M.L. was shut down by the judge on Friday.
Michael was a no-show for Lindsay's hearing Thursday, but on Friday he went to the courthouse in Beverly Hills and tried going before Judge Marsha Revel. We're told the judge muzzled him, saying she would not let him appear in Lindsay's case.
Michael tells TMZ the judge told him to hire his own lawyer, who could then confer with the prosecutor who is handing Lindsay's DUI probation case.
Michael thinks his daughter is in trouble with substance abuse.
No immediate reaction from Shapiro or Lindsay's lawyer.

Michael Lohan just admitted in court that he's been a deadbeat dad.
Michael went before a judge today in Nassau County, NY -- after Dina Lohan claimed he had fallen 7 months behind in child support.
The hearing was closed and no one said how much Michael was in arrears.
Back in November TMZ broke the story that Michael was $15,100 behind in child support payments.
We're told Michael fessed up to being 7 months behind and promised the judge he'd become current by the time he's back in court on March 24.

Because there just aren't enough reasons to hate Michael Lohan already, here's one more for you: See that adorable puppy below? LiLo's dad completely abandoned it.
The Last Chance Animal Rescue Fund tells TMZ Michael (right) adopted a dog named Abbey (left) around Christmas for GF Kate Major -- but after the cute, cuddly critter tore up their place, they called in to complain.
We're told Michael eventually dropped the dog off at the vet for heart worm treatment ... and never came back.
The pup was eventually given the "Abandoned" stamp after 10 days at the vet and was returned to LCARF, where it was adopted by another family.
When you think about it ... that dog really dodged a bullet.
UPDATE: Kate Major tells TMZ, "We rescued the dog and the dog had a lot more problems and they did not make us aware of the issues. The dog destroyed the house ... the shelter told us they had someone else to adopt. It's pathetic that someone needs to use press to get their rescue shelter in the news."

UPDATE: We spoke to the court, and officials tell us the judge has ordered Erin to be a good girl -- plus complete community service and a court ordered program -- for one year before the charge is officially dismissed.
Erin Muller is officially off the hook for allegedly kicking her ex Michael Lohan in the head last year. She's off the hook for two reasons. First, the misdemeanor charge filed against her has been dismissed. Second, Michael probably deserved it.
As we first reported, Michael claimed he tried to stop Erin from driving on November 14 because she was too "drunk and high" -- that's when she allegedly kicked him in the head.
A judge in New York's Nassau County Court dismissed the criminal case against Erin this AM. Michael's restraining order against Erin was unaffected by the ruling.
Erin recently filed papers claiming she's the real victim -- accusing Michael of abusing her over a dozen times between 2007 and 2008 ... including a kick to her lady region. Michael has denied her allegations.
Love ... it's a beautiful thing.

Michael Lohan took a break from recording phone calls with his daughter and (allegedly) kicking his lady friend in the baby maker to get a tattoo on Saturday with Jon Gosselin's ex-girlfriend. Only a few days in and 2010 has already gone to hell.
Lindsay's dad and Kate Major went into a tattoo parlor and got matching tats (see above) to mark their ... hell, we don't know what they were thinking.
At least it doesn't say WORLD'S GREATEST DAD.

Michael Lohan is adamant that he's never laid a single toe on his ex-fiancee's no no special zone -- claiming Erin Muller's allegations that he abused her over a two year span is "patently untrue."
Lohan's lawyer is on the attack, claiming Erin made the whole thing up -- after Mike "terminated" their engagement.
As TMZ first reported, Erin made the allegations in legal documents she filed yesterday in NY, in which she asked the judge to drop Michael's harassment lawsuit against her. In the docs, Erin claimed Mike once kicked her in the vagina.
But Team Lohan is refusing to back down, claiming Erin's story is a "desperate attempt to dismiss the allegations against her."

Erin Muller claims Michael Lohan physically abused her at least twelve times over the last two years -- including an incident in which Michael allegedly "kicked [her] in the vagina."
Erin Muller filed court documents in Nassau County, NY yesterday, asking the court to drop Michael's harassment allegations against her ... and in doing so, paints Michael as an alleged serial woman-beater.
According to the documents, Erin claims Michael physically abused her on the following dates...
Dec. 9, 2007: Michael Lohan "slapped Erin in the face twice because Erin accused him of giving her a fake watch on her birthday.
Feb. 2008: Michael "punched Erin in the mouth" because she had a male friend on Facebook
March 2008: Michael "whipped a computer cord" at her face but she blocked it with her hand ... causing a laceration.
May 5, 2008: Michael "kicked Erin Muller in the ribs."
May 2008: Michael "kicked Erin Muller in the vagina, bruising it and causing substantial pain."
June 2008: Michael "spit in Erin's face, and beat her repeatedly with his fist." Then he "yelled at her to 'stop crying c*nt -- other people will see you -- if they see you, I will kill you!'"
And the list goes on and on.

Michael Lohan tried getting his ex-fiancee arrested, claiming -- just like he did with daughter Lindsay Lohan -- his primary concern is getting the people he loves off drugs.
TMZ has obtained a police report filed by Michael on December 21. Lohan says, "My ex-fiance, Erin Muller, threatened me with a knife during an argument several months ago and I wish to pursue charges."
Lohan then goes on to say ... "I did not report this at the time because I wanted her to get help for her addictions."
So what changed for Michael? Well, for starters, Muller had him arrested on December 14 for allegedly violating a restraining order against her.
So much for addiction help.
UPDATE: Erin's lawyer is disputing Michael's allegations, telling TMZ she "did not threaten Michael Lohan with a knife."
The attorney also tells us that Michael "is starting to realize that Erin really doesn't want anything to do with him. He needs to take a hint and go away."

Michael Lohan's ex-girlfriend -- the one who got him arrested Monday -- has now been busted herself ... for allegedly kicking him in the head with her shoe ... this according to a police report obtained by TMZ.
According to the doc, Michael Lohan and Erin Muller pulled into the driveway of his mom's home on November 14. Michael apparently thought she was too "drunk and high" to drive and that triggered an argument. Michael says he then got out of the car and tried to keep her from driving.
Lindsay Lohan's dad says when he opened her door, Erin intentionally kicked him in the head.
Remember, Erin got Michael arrested Monday for violating a restraining order.
Mr. Lohan -- who knows a thing or two about revenge and jail -- filed a criminal complaint of his own, and Erin turned herself in today.

Michael Lohan's ex-girlfriend fears Lindsay Lohan's dad "will do bad things to me and my family" -- this, after Michael allegedly called her in a jealous fit.
According to the police report obtained by TMZ, Erin Muller claims Michael first called her at 11:30 AM on Sunday and "started harassing me, questioning me who I have 'been with, who's car was currently in my drive way,' things like that."
Erin told Suffolk County Police the first call lasted two minutes and the second lasted five -- and that she recorded both conversations. Pretty ironic and sweet, given Michael's penchant for secretly recording calls.
In the report, Erin also told cops, "I want him arrested." She got her wish -- he was busted yesterday and charged with criminal contempt of court.
But Michael claims Erin's lying -- that she actually called him ... and her claims are "fabricated."

TMZ has obtained Michael Lohan's newest mug shot -- this time, Lindsay's dad struck a pose after being arrested for violating a restraining order.
Cops busted Lohan in New York yesterday after allegedly making a phone call to his ex-girlfriend Erin Muller -- a direct violation of the restraining order she has against him after an incident in March.
Lohan was charged with criminal contempt of court.

As if Michael Lohan could descend any lower on the crappy father scale, TMZ found out he's over $15,000 behind in child support.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Michael has racked up $15,100 in unpaid child support to Dina for their three minor children: Aliana, Michael Jr. and Dakota Lohan.
Now how about this horrible scenario: If Michael profited off those audio tapes he released of Lindsay's lowest moments, he could actually pay off his child support with money he made from exploiting one of his children.
